The Island was hosted on Invision Free, it was constantly (pretty much daily) a victim of spam bots/spammers. I got tired of seeing porn and whatnot all over the site. IPB is great but the free version (v1.3) has a bunch of security issues. I bought hosting and I have switched the forum software to phpbb3. People that were registerd there will have to re register/ People who arent registered there, now is the best time to do it! Now that we are on paid hosting, we have complete and total control over everything and there is no limit to what we can do! Come down and experience the NEW & IMPROVED island for yourself!

Its amazing how active the site has been since it reopened with paid hosting and the new software. In less than two weeks we almost 50 members and 5000 posts. Chatting at an active board always makes is funner than chatting at a dead board. We have tons of thought provoking conversation starters. We have something for everyone! Come see for yourself!
