I would get rid of the:

The white text is the forum description, used by search engines to help index the site. If I can't hide it, I may have to remove it completely.

I've finally worked on the CSS script and edited it to hide that text and center the logo. Hopefully I didn't mess up anything. Wink

I used GIMP. It's a free software and you can get it HERE.

The splatter and plant design are free brushes. I think I downloaded them from somewhere on deviantart.com. The pre-made images are from iconarchive.com The text is also a free download from urbanfonts.com.

I think that covers everything.

REALLY, I use gimp too! That's what I used to create my forum banner!

I'll be changing my banner though as it's a bit of a failure Very Happy

I really like Gimp, though some things are more difficult to do. And I'm certainly no pro at it.

Now that I think about it, I cheated on the blue background. I cropped it in Gimp but used paint Shop Pro to stretch it. I'm ashamed of myself. Laughing

Also, I can't wait to see your new banner. Your current banner is actually pretty good. A lot better than most. If you are going to use Gimp then check out Gimp-Tutorials. It has great tutorials and free downloads too.

You may have noticed my forums theme is a bit wierd. It's in construction.
