Null's Blog
Hey everyone, I decided it's about time I created my own blog here on AMF, so here it is.
Today I'd like to share a bit about my avatar. It's from Calvin and Hobbes as Pacmansays pointed out in another post. So, I thought I'd share the awesomeness of Calvin and Hobbes with all of you.

Moral: Guilt hurts more than back pain. Mush Dad, Mush!

Re: Null's Blog
Are you going to start a SOSblog blog?
PS: SOSblog is run by the Forumotion company - just thought it'd go well with the forum...

Re: Null's Blog
New Blog Post:

Did anyone watch the opening ceremony to the 2008 Beijing Olympics? If you did you probably remember the 9 year old pigtailed Lin Miaoke who sang "Ode to the Motherland” in front of over a billion viewers as the Chinese flag was brought out.
However, it wasn't Lin's voice at all. Instead it was the voice of Yang Peiyi, age 7. In order to find the perfect face and voice for the Grand Opening Celebration, the ceremonies’ production team resorted to using two people instead of one. Lin Miaoke was decided to be cute enough to be the singer but her voice wasn't good enough to meet the high expectations. Yang Peiyi had the perfect voice, but wasn't cute enough by the teams standards.
So, in the end, when Lin went to sing her voice wasn't heard, but instead it was a recording of Yang. And it is unknown if Miaoke even knew.

Re: Null's Blog
I'm not really sure if I should be posting here >.>;;;
I don't know how blogs work. lol
But I just wanted to say wow to the Bejing thing. I heard a little bit about it. Well, about the singer being adorable. But I had no idea that they would go by 'cute standards' or voice-overs. That's kind of harsh. It really suprises me. Thank you for thins information.
Where did you get it exactly?
/Also, Calvin and Hobbes have lots of nice comics.

Re: Null's Blog
I saw the article in my newspaper (the Lakeland Ledger) and looked it up online to share it.
And here's another Calvin and Hobbes:

That's how I feel now that summer's over and I'm back in school.
